Slipcovers!!!!

Yipppee!! My fabric came for my new slipcovers!  I called the lady and they are going in on thursday to get started!  I am super excited!  She said they will take a couple weeks to make two slipcovers, but I think it is worth the wait!  I picked this oatmeal linen.  It is 100% linen, like my couch, and my couch has held up really great for almost 2 years now, even with pets and a child!  So, I hope it does good on the chairs, which happen to get more use!  The other robin egg blue damask is going to be used for curtains.  I have a whole vision in my head.....I hope it comes out as expected!  I can't wait to show the finished room in a few weeks!

Around the House Today!

Just some random pics of the house today- some new items too!  I moved the large white mirror from the dining room to the family room.....a new jute rug from overstock for 79.00!  And a pair of new stools from overstock for 80.00/pair!  I bought two new 30x30 floor pillows.  I got one covered last night..still need to do the other one in a different fabric.  AND....a nice note from my little guy...sweet...right??

Keep Calm

Hello!  Please excuse the bad, dark pictures!  I bought these two Keep Calm and Carry On posters the other day and already got them!  I wanted to hang one next to my sewing machine to remind me to "keep calm" with all my pillows to make! :)   I bought the grey one and she sent the pink for free!  I love them!  I bought a large poster frame in black and then the white one is a 13x19.  I like the pop of pink with all the grey and white!

I  L.O.V.E. this room!  The table, while being kinda modern, is totally not something I would buy myself, but I love it in this picture!  It makes me want to add some modern pieces in my house.  I normally go towards large, farmhouse style tables.  And that chair color!!?  Fabulous!  I love it all.  Don't even get me started on that mirror.  I want it.  I need it.  Where can I find one for under 100.00??  Any ideas?  My eyes will be peeled! :) 

  Hope your day is going good!  It is rainy and cold here today, but I am looking forward to dinner tonight with some friends from high school!  I can't believe that our 10 year high school reunion is next month!!  Time sure does fly! 

Easter Goodness

Hello!  Easter weekend was good!  Great, actually!  It wasn't too much relaxing, but it was nice to spend time with family!   We went to my grandparents for dinner on saturday and then seunday to my parents for brunch.  Nice!  Lots of yummy food and an Easter egg hunt.  How was your Easter?  I thought I would share some photos of our blessed day!
