I am sooo wanting to paint my family room this weekend (time allowing). Here are some rooms that have a color scheme that I am loving right now. I know they are all over the place, but...I like them all! Don't be mad if I don't have pictures to show you of a newly painted room on monday. I doubt I will have time, but a girl can dream, right!!?
I am really liking subdued and muted colors right now. I don't know if it is the season or what. I WANT that big ottoman in the last picture sooo bad! Right now my walls are painted "Platinum" which is a bluish/grey color. I thought I would love it when I painted it and it is just too blue for me. I want either a warm cream/white or a chocolate brown color. Oh man, I don't know! That is half the problem! I wish I had time to go through hundreds of pictures I have saved on my computer and the hundreds of magazine pages I ripped out. Or even better yet, someone to paint the room for me. And if I don't like it- paint it again! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and following. I saw your Etsy shop. The pillows are so ADORABLE! I've never found anyone who painted their rooms as much as me. You may be the first one. I used to use my small dining room as a color trial area. I painted it 8 times in 4 years. I tried every look I could think of. Now our house has higher ceilings so I'm not as anxious to re-paint them.lol

Ha! I did actually get my room painted yesterday! Pics to come this week! I think that room has been painted 8 times in 6 years!
